Why do the dogs wear muzzles?  That seems cruel.  I hope you don't race your greyhounds.

They wear the muzzles when they are out because they can start racing with each other and they have thin skin. They only wear it when we get home, but when they are just out they don't. Solstice loves to get them all running.  They also wear it when we go on trips in the van, just for their safety.  No worries, they are use to wearing them.  Our greyhounds, except for Bear who we got as a pup, are all retired racers.

Our past greyhounds we had a stake racer dog. He did so well and our Paisley, was such a great racer. Before each race the lead out would sing her Prince's Purple Rain. Her racing name was FTH Purple Rain.
